Amanda Carlson, MD

Dr. Carlson is board certified as both an internal medicine and infectious disease physician. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois in Peoria. She completed her residency at the University of California - San Diego and fellowship at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Dr. Carlson finds all areas of infectious disease treatment interesting, but she has a special interest in the treatment and prevention of HIV and Hepatitis C.

In her free time, she enjoys yoga and meditation, gardening, crafting and hiking.
