Alyssa Keiner, APRN-CNP

Alyssa started on the stroke unit at SSM Health DePaul Hospital caring for stroke and neurological patients, as well as intermediate teams. After serval years on the floor, and becoming a charge nurse, she transitioned to IVR where the Neuro-interventionalists perform their emergent and routine procedures. During this time she completed her masters in nursing. Soon after graduation, she found an NP position with a local palliative care and hospice company. She transitioned to outpatient care, providing primary care and palliative care in collaboration with PCPs for residents in local nursing facilities and SSM Health At Home. After three years, she returned to inpatient care and came back to her first love in nursing, neurology, and more specifically, stroke care at SSM Health DePaul Hospital.
