Alex Vohs, PsyD, is a pediatric psychologist at the Knights of Columbus Developmental Center at SSM Heath Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
Dr. Vohs earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mississippi College and her Doctorate of Psychology in School Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. She completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Developmental Disabilities at the Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities affiliated with the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center. This training provided intensive training in the early identification and treatment of individuals with developmental disabilities (i.e., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Intellectual Disability), with a heavy emphasis on ASD. She also received extensive training and clinical certification to administer the ADOS-2 for assessing and diagnosing ASD. Dr. Vohs also participated in the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program during her fellowship.
Her research and clinical interests center on providing evidence-based assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disabilities, specifically ASD, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), intellectual disabilities, developmental delay, communication disorders and behavioral disabilities.
She is a member of the National Association of School Psychologists, American Psychological Association, and the American Association of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
