Alex Wood, PA-C Dermatology, Physician Assistant in St. Louis, MO

Alex Wood is a certified physician assistant who specializes in dermatology for patients ages eight and older. He collaborates with dermatologists to offer the following services: conducting full-body skin exams and skin cancer screenings; diagnosing and treating skin conditions such as acne, warts, and dry skin; ordering and interpreting tests; performing skin biopsies and non-excisional procedures for malignant skin lesions; and cryotherapy.

By practicing medicine, Wood hopes to improve patients' lives. His goal is to give patients the resources they need to promote healthier skin care habits using evidence-based medicine and practices.

Wood works in the Division of Dermatology in the Department of Dermatology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Outside of work, Wood enjoys learning about history and playing tennis and board games.
