Adam Tierney, MD

Dr. Tierney is board certified urologist. He obtained his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

Dr. Tierney specializes in minimally invasive procedures for enlarged prostates (BPH)- especially HOLEP and Rezum- and also in the treatment of kidney stones using, ureteroscopy, Holmium laser and ESWL.

Bladder cancer and prostate cancer: Dr Tierney has a strong interest in the evaluation of elevated PSA and monitoring men with prostate cancer on active surveillance; and monitoring patients with non-invasive early-stage bladder cancer with TURBT and cystoscopy and bladder treatments (i.e., BCG and bladder chemotherapy) .

Finally, Dr Tierney also sees patients with general adult urology issues like benign disorders of the penis and scrotum (i.e., adult circumcision, hydrocele, spermatocele), hematuria evaluation, and bladder stones.

Outside of work, he enjoys biking, gardening, reading, live music, community service, and spending time with family and friends.
