Abhay Laddu, MD

Dr. Abhay A. Laddu, MD, FACC, is a board certified cardiologist who specializes in adult cardiovascular diseases. His areas of expertise include cardiac imaging, valvular heart disease, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease and echocardiography.

Dr. Laddu attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine, completed both an internship and residency in internal medicine at Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and finished his fellowship in cardiovascular disease from Saint Louis University Hospital. Dr. Laddu is fluent in Marathi.

Before joining SSM Health Medical Group, Dr. Laddu was the director of non-invasive cardiac imaging for SLUCare Physician Group, where he focused on improving the quality of echocardiography. He has won numerous honors, including the title of "Top Doctors in St. Louis." Dr. Laddu is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American College of Cardiology.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Laddu enjoys spending time with his wife and children.They built the Lego Taj Mahal together, which is around 6,000 pieces! He is an avid biker and runner. He ran his first marathon in 2016.
