Dr. Hooton's mission is to provide evidence-based quality dermatologic care to as many patients as possible with the goal of reducing the time it takes to see a dermatologist in the local community. His clinical interest is in quality improvement relative to patient care and outcomes.
Dr. Hooton is an assistant professor with the at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He has also been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Fun facts: Dr. Hooton became interested in the field of dermatology after he found a basal cell carcinoma on his mom. He has four children and is an amateur woodworker.
