Dr. Kristie Lou provides minimally invasive surgical care for the treatment of endometriosis, adenomyosis, abnormal uterine bleeding and pelvic pain, as well as fibroids, cysts, benign tumors and other gynecologic conditions. Her areas of expertise include excision surgery for endometriosis, laparoscopic myomectomy and hysterectomy, robotic surgery, and multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment of pelvic pain.

Her research interests include surgical education, endometriosis and pelvic pain.

Dr. Lou is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women's Health, Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

She is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons.

Outside of work, Dr. Lou enjoys baking, hiking, playing music, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Dr Lou is amazing. I would recommend her to anyone that is suffering from endometriosis and would tell them that she is worth the wait to get an appointment. She listens, she explains things so you understand what is happening in your body and why. She is thoughtful and has a wonderful bedside manner. She is honest with you about your options and your possible outcomes of surgery and your conditions. Covering best case and worst case scenarios so you clearly understand what the results may be. She will stay in my and my families hearts as one of the best doctors. We love dr Lou.

Thankful and grateful that I was not not asked to explain my pain and several aspects of it but she also took the time to ask very specific questions to better understand my specific situation
