Dr. Katherine Robbins diagnoses disorders of the bone marrow, lymph nodes, blood, and other hematopoietic organs (diseases such as leukemia and lymphoma). She also performs diagnosis and evaluation of anemia.

Dr. Robbins oversees the Saint Louis University Hospital Hematology Laboratory, the Saint Louis University Flow Cytometry Laboratory, and the Saint Louis University Histology Laboratory.

Her research interests include assessing patient outcome differences and health care quality in the context of laboratory test utilization, particularly in the areas of high complexity, specialized testing.

Dr. Robbins is an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

She is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists and of the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
