Debra Emery, PhD

Debra W. Emery, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist who works on the hematology/oncology service at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Her outpatient clinical work specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. She is certified through the Missouri Academy of Child Trauma Studies in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and has also received extensive training in the Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma (ITCT).

She is an Affiliate Member of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network. Dr. Emery received her Ph.D. from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. During her internship and post-doctoral work at Hawthorn Children's Psychiatric Hospital and St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute, she received extensive training in inpatient and intensive outpatient settings.
